Overview

The Planning, Research & Statistics Department is responsible for policy analysis, research coordination, and statistical services to support evidence-based decision making in the Ministry.

Key Functions

  • Formulate and coordinate the Ministry's policies and programs
  • Conduct and coordinate research on women and gender issues
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret gender-disaggregated data
  • Monitor and evaluate Ministry projects and programs
  • Prepare national and international reports on gender issues
